AC Milan sign Ardon Jashari
AC Milan have secured Ardon Jashari on a five-year deal from Belgian side Club Brugge, with the Swiss international costing the Italian club around 35 million euros. It is a major coup for the Rossoneri, who have beaten Aston Villa to the midfielder's signature, and Manchester United had submitted an offer earlier in the year for the talent.
The player will wear the number 30 shirt and will play an important role at the San Siro, expected to take over the place of Tijjani Reijnders, the Dutchman that departed for Premier League outfit Manchester City this summer.
Jashari has developed into a dynamic, left-footed midfielder renowned for his tactical intelligence and ball-winning prowess. Primarily a defensive midfielder, he’s also adept in a box-to-box role, demonstrating strong positional awareness and the ability to read the game.
This move comes as part of a broader midfield rebuild following key departures, with Jashari joining compatriot Luka Modrić and Samuele Ricci to bolster the engine room at Milan.
Aston Villa had made a last minute offer to sign the midfielder, but reportedly the player had already set his heart on a move to Italy.
