Man Utd quoted price to sign Carlos Baleba
Manchester United will reportedly need to pay a club-record fee to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba this summer.
The Red Devils have already signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo for more than £130 million and they are expected to spend another £74m to purchase Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
The club are not done yet in the transfer market and could make a huge outlay on a new midfielder too. It is now revealed that Brighton are holding out for at least £104m to part ways with Baleba.
The Cameroon international would be keen on joining the Red Devils during the ongoing transfer window, but he is also prepared to wait for his next big move.
Unless United are willing to pay close to the reported asking price, Baleba could stay with the Seagulls for the upcoming season, and could be sold next summer.
Arsenal and Liverpool are also monitoring the highly-rated midfielder, whose playing style has been likened to former Brighton star Moises Caicedo.
