Arsenal to make offer to sign Ademola Lookman?
Arsenal could lodge a formal offer to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, according to Italian outlet Corriere della Sera.
The Gunners are keen on landing a specialist left winger in the coming weeks and they have identified Rodrygo and Eberechi Eze as options.
Rodrygo is the number one target for the role, but the Real Madrid star may not be available for a transfer unless he pushes for a potential exit.
Eberechi Eze, on the other hand, has opened the door to join the Gunners from Crystal Palace, but his club want at least £68 million for him.
With the high cost for both deals, Arsenal could look at an alternative and it is claimed that they could hijack Inter Milan's pursuit of Lookman.
Inter have so far offered €45m on the table for the attacker, but Atalanta are looking for more. Arsenal could be willing to pay around €51m.
Lookman could be tempted to return to the Premier League. He may have a point to prove after average spells at Everton, Fulham and Leicester City.
