Kanoute may leave Sevilla

Sevilla forward Frederic Kanoute has put several clubs on red alert after announcing that he would seriously consider any offers for him from other clubs. A few Premiership sides are reportedly monitoring the former Lyon, West Ham and Tottenham frontman.

Kanoute has been so impressive in La Liga since joining Sevilla, and there are reports that even Barcelona are interested in the forward.

"If there's a serious proposal on the table then I will study it," he told Spanish newspaper Marca.

"I'd like to stay on in Seville. I'm not thinking about changing, at the moment.

"It's true that until now there have been no serious offers, but if a serious one came I would think about it."
