Bruno Fernandes ready for Saudi Arabia move?
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes could make a shock move to Saudi Arabia with Al-Ittihad before the transfer deadline, according to The Sun.
The Portugal international has already turned down Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr this summer, but Al-Ittihad are now pushing to land his signature before the transfer window closes on September 1.
Al-Ittihad have had positive talks with the player's representatives, and the player reportedly wants around 33 million pounds per year to join the Saudi Pro League giants.
Al-Ittihad have no problem in meeting the valuation and could be prepared to spend around 100 million pounds to purchase the 30-year-old from the Red Devils as well.
Fernandes has previously said that he is prepared to move on if the club need to cash in. United could be looking to sell him before the deadline.
They may use the funds recouped for the purchase of a marquee defensive midfielder. Brighton's Carlos Baleba is the prime target for the Red Devils.
