Arsenal playmaker on his way to Stuttgart?

Arsenal playmaker Fabio Vieira could be on his way to Stuttgart following their huge financial boost.

The Bundesliga outfit were reluctant to part ways with their star striker Nick Woltemade, but have eventually agreed to sell him to Newcastle United for €90 million.

As a result, the German club are expected to spend the money on new recruits. Negotiations have been ongoing for the last few weeks with Arsenal regarding Vieira.

Arsenal previously requested around €26m for their midfielder, but Stuttgart refused to offer more than €17m. The package could be increased in the coming hours.

With the huge financial boost from Woltemade's sale, Stuttgart could be prepared to pay a higher fee to land Vieira from the Gunners before the transfer deadline.

Vieira has already given the green light to a move to the Bundesliga. He has also been linked with West Ham United, but they have yet to make a proposal for the Porto graduate.
