DI Natale ready for the fight

Udinese star front man Antonio Di Natale welcomes the competition for places in the Azzuri squad this summer.

The Italian has again been in good form for his club side this season and looks set to rival Del Piero and Antonio Cassano for the second striker spot in Donadoni's side.

And despite a fine qualifying campaign (where he scored twice), Di Natale knows full well the task that lies ahead.

"With Del Piero and Cassano we are competing for a spot in the attack, but rest assured that whoever ends up playing will give their all,"

"The important thing are not the individual players, but the group, which will undoubtedly give everything and forget about the competition with other team mates. Donadoni counts on me and I hope not to disappoint him."

The Italians are marked as one of the favorites for the tournament, despite being placed in the 'group of death' along with France, Holland and a good Romanian side.
