Arsenal handed title boost after Man City injury blow

Arsenal have been handed a boost in the title race with Manchester City midfielder Rodri sustaining a hamstring injury against Brentford in the Premier League.
The Spain international suffered a serious knee injury at the beginning of the previous campaign. This played a huge part in City's failure to win the league for the fifth straight year.
Rodri returned to the mix earlier this season, but he has suffered another untimely setback. He picked up a hamstring injury in the opening half against the Bees away from home.
The former Atletico man immediately signalled the bench for a change. City's faithful will be hoping that the injury is a minor one and he will be available by early November at least.
Manchester City have picked up 10 points from their last four outings. Their only draw came against Arsenal, where Gabriel Martinelli scored a late dramatic goal in stoppage time.
City are presently three points behind the Gunners, who are top of the table. They will host Everton at the Etihad Stadium after the second international break of the ongoing campaign.
