Chelsea ready to battle Man City for Forest star

Chelsea are ready to battle it out with Manchester City to sign Elliot Anderson next year, according to Daily Express.
The Blues have a quality midfield partnership of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez. Romeo Lavia is a brilliant deputy for the duo in the squad.
However, this has not ended the speculation over a new midfielder and reports claim that Anderson has emerged as a top target for the London giants.
Manchester City are also keen on landing the England international, who has made huge progress since his move to Nottingham Forest from Newcastle United in the summer of 2024.
Anderson made his England debut recently and has established himself as an undisputed starter alongside Declan Rice. He could be a starter for the Three Lions at the World Cup next year.
His stock is rising with every performance and there is a possibility that Chelsea and City could attempt to land him amid Forest's woes in the Premier League.
