Liverpool ready to pay £70m for Antoine Semenyo

Liverpool are ready to pay £70 million to sign Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo during the winter transfer window, according to Fichajes.
The Anfield outfit have had a dreadful Premier League title defence and they are presently eighth in the standings with only 18 points from 11 games.
The club are already eight points behind league leaders Arsenal and need a huge turnaround after the international break to stay in the title race.
Amidst this, Fichajes claim that Arne Slot's side could spend big to bolster their attack in January and Semenyo has emerged as the top target.
The Ghanaian is considered as a signing for now and the future, and could be seen as a long-term replacement for the out-of-form Mohamed Salah.
The Cherries are unlikely to accept anything less than £70 million for the versatile winger and it is claimed that the Reds are ready to pay the fee.
If Semenyo were to join the Merseyside heavyweights, there could be serious questions over Salah's future beyond the current campaign.
