Jol rules out Spurs top 4

New Hamburg boss Martin Jol has ruled out Tottenham's chances of finishing in the top four next year. A top four place would secure Champions League football, and the Dutch coach is not so sure whether Spurs have the ability to reach the top four.
Jol ruled out Juande Ramos' chances of securing Champions League football, despite an impressive first year, winning the Carling Cup.
Jol said: âWhen I was with Spurs we finished fifth twice.
âItâs not realistic for Tottenham to be top four because the financial differences are too much.
âEverton were the last club to do it and that was merely a one-off.â
