Arsenal make strong move to sign French star

Arsenal have made a strong move to Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola amid interest from Liverpool, according to Le 10 Sport.

The Gunners strengthened their frontline with the signings of Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres during the last transfer window.

However, they did not pursue a specialist left winger and reports claim that the club could fulfil that need by purchasing Barcola from PSG.

Barcola has two more years remaining on his contract, but there is currently an impasse in negotiations over a new deal for some period of time.

This could pave the way for a summer departure. Liverpool are active admirers, but Arsenal have also made a strong move for the player.

They are discussing with the player's representatives at the moment to try and entice the Frenchman to choose them over other elite clubs.

Barcola has managed eight goal contributions in the ongoing campaign for PSG. He has been in and out of the starting XI in recent games.
