Liverpool want to sign Juventus full-back

Liverpool are keen on landing the signature of Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso at the end of the campaign, as per Caught Offside.

The Merseyside giants could enter the transfer market for a new full-back this summer with the prospect of at least one departure on the cards.

Andy Robertson is poised to leave when his contract expires on June 30.

Cambiaso can comfortably operate in both full-back roles and has been identified as a top target to fill the void left by the Scottish star.

Juventus have tied the Italian to a contract until June 2029, but reports claim that the Bianconeri could be forced into a big-money sale if they don't qualify for the Champions League next season.

In that case, it could open the door for Cambiaso's departure for a premium price. The Bianconeri are currently four points adrift of Roma, who are holding onto the final Champions League spot in Serie A.

Cambiaso could be available for around €60m this summer.
