Arsenal & Man Utd keen on signing Atalanta star

Arsenal and Manchester United could make a move for Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi during the next transfer window, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Italian has established himself as a key player for Atalanta in Serie A and has made almost 100 saves in the division this campaign. He has been a key to their ascendancy in the table.

Despite this, the Bergamo outfit could be open to cashing in on his services. They are a selling club and may entertain his departure for a package of around 40 million euros.

Both Arsenal and United are mentioned as interested parties, but it would be a surprise if he joins either. David Raya is an undisputed starter at the Gunners for the last few years.

The Gunners are unlikely to pursue a new number one. Similarly, Senne Lammens has been a revelation since his switch to the Red Devils from Antwerp last summer.

The Belgian has cemented his spot between the sticks at United.
