Man Utd winger in talks to join German club

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has opened talks over a free transfer to Borussia Dortmund this summer, as per Sky Sport Germany.

The England international is presently on a season-long loan at Aston Villa, where he has scored just four goals in more than 30 appearances.

The Midlands outfit have no desire to negotiate a free transfer and Sancho is expected to pursue a new challenge abroad. His United contract expires at the end of June.

Sky Sport Germany claim that Dortmund have entered talks with the player's agents and they are optimistic of bringing Sancho back to the club for a third occasion.

The former Chelsea attacker is seemingly prepared to accept a salary cut. There is a good possibility that he could return to the Bundesliga with Dortmund permanently.

Man Utd have the option to keep Sancho for another year with an extension clause, but have no desire to exercise the clause. Their stance won't change in the near future.
