Michael Carrick wants Aston Villa star at Man Utd

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has urged the hierarchy to sign Aston Villa winger Morgan Rogers at the end of the campaign, according to Teamtalk.
The Red Devils are expected to strengthen their forward department further this summer and it has been claimed that Rogers is the number one target.
Carrick has had a tremendous spell as United's interim boss and reports claim that he is a strong favourite to become the permanent head coach pretty soon.
The 44-year-old has now asked sporting director Jason Wilcox to weigh up an approach for Rogers, who has 19 goal contributions in the current season.
Rogers can operate as a left winger or as an attacking midfielder. These are two positions United want to strengthen. The Englishman would fulfil both targets.
Villa have not placed a price tag on the player's ahead but it has been claimed that a package of around £80-90 million could be sufficient to do business.
Arsenal and Chelsea are also keen on landing the 23-year-old.
