Newcastle winger ready to join Arsenal this summer

Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon has opened the door to joining Arsenal during the summer transfer window, according to Caught Offside.

The England international had a slow start to the campaign with the Magpies, but he has picked up form to register 22 goal contributions thus far.

Gordon is currently assessing his future options and reports claim that he could leave the Magpies in search of regular Champions League football.

Arsenal can offer him exactly that and it is claimed that the player would be receptive to the idea of working with a tactical manager like Mikel Arteta.

The Magpies have not set an asking price for the former Everton man, but it has been claimed that he could be sold for around 100 million pounds.

The figure could be slightly lesser at 90 million pounds too in case Arsenal don't find themselves in a bidding war for the highly-rated wide player.

Gordon is primarily a left winger, but can play on the right or upfront too.
