Liverpool identify top replacement for Mohamed Salah

Liverpool have identified RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande as the priority choice to replace Mohamed Salah at the end of the campaign, according to Sky Sport Germany.
The Merseyside giants have already confirmed the departure of Salah on a free transfer at the end of the season. They have started the process of finding his successor and Diomande is the prime target.
Diomande only signed for Leipzig from Leganes last summer, but the Ivorian has made a huge impression, scoring 15 goals and providing nine assists from 42 appearances for the Bundesliga giants.
The 19-year-old has the ability to play on either wing but he is most comfortable from the right. The Reds believe he has the credentials to become a mainstay in the position next season.
Leipzig are unlikely to let him go on the cheap. The German side would prefer to keep him for another 12 months. If he were to leave, it could cost at least £87 million for the Reds to land his signature.
