Chelsea make Liam Rosenior sack decision

Chelsea have decided to cut ties with manager Liam Rosenior following their dreadful run in the Premier League this year.

The Blues recently suffered a five-straight league defeat after a 3-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion away from home.

It was their fifth successive one without scoring in the league, something that has not happened at the club in over 100 years.

Hence, the Blues' hierarchy were expected to take a drastic decision and they have now confirmed the departure of Rosenior.

Rosenior's tenure started with plenty of promise, but he has been dismissed from the helm ahead of the club's FA Cup semi-final.

Chelsea take on Leeds United at Wembley Stadium this weekend, and hopefully, there will be a response to Rosenior's exit.

The Blues could still end the campaign on a high with silverware.

If they beat Leeds, Chelsea could face either Manchester City or Southampton in the FA Cup final in London next month.
