Chelsea preparing move for Belgian winger

Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a move for Belgium winger Mika Godts after his standout season with Ajax.

The Blues are expected to make multiple changes to the squad this summer and a new left winger could be signed.

Alejandro Garnacho has been a huge disappointment in the role, while Jamie Gittens has struggled to stay fit.

The former could be shown the exit door in the next transfer window, and it is claimed that Godts could replace him.

The 20-year-old has been sensational for Ajax this campaign, and he has bagged 17 goals and 14 assists from 42 games. 

He has dazzled with his dribbling and pace on the counter-attack, and looks set to make the next step in his young career.

Chelsea are not alone in the pursuit of the highly-rated attacker, with Newcastle United and Sunderland keeping tabs.

Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked, but the pair are not contemplating a formal approach as of now.
