Brazilian star only wants move to Man Utd - Romano

Atalanta midfielder Ederson has his sights on joining Manchester United when the transfer window reopens this summer.

The Brazil international has been a long-term target for the Red Devils, and he was first on their radar in the summer of 2024.

Back then, Atalanta were reluctant to sanction his sale, but the scenario has changed now with his contract expiring in 12 months.

Ederson has also been linked with the likes of Barcelona and Juventus, but the midfielder is holding out for a move to Old Trafford.

That has already been informed to Atalanta's hierarchy and it is claimed that talks are progressing quickly to finalise his transfer.

Alongside Ederson, United are expected to land another midfielder this summer. Newcastle United's Sandro Tonali is highly rated.

The Italian ace has his sights on playing Champions League football and could be prised away from the Magpies for around £86m.

Juventus were also linked with him, but are no longer in the hunt.
