The Spaniard has made the decision to move on from the Blues this summer after a disastrous 2025/26 campaign under different managers.

Cucurella has his sights on winning trophies in the prime of his career and prefers to join an ambitious sporting project in the near future.

Barcelona are his preferred destination but he has not ruled out joining another elite European club with United among his main suitors.

Cucurella was signed by the Blues from Brighton for 60 million pounds, but he could be permitted to leave for just 35-43 million pounds.
