Arsenal poised to make second bid for Bruno Guimaraes

Arsenal are poised to make a renewed approach for Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes after receiving encouragement from his entourage, according to Teamtalk.
The Gunners are aiming to strengthen their squad this summer with marquee signings, and they are prepared to pay premium fees.
The club recently made a verbal offer worth £55 million for Guimaraes, but the proposal was swiftly snubbed by the Magpies.
However, the Premier League champions have not given up on the 28-year-old and plan to return with a fresh proposal soon.
Guimaraes has been quiet about the speculation, but his representatives are in constant contact with the north London giants.
It is unclear how much Arsenal could bid next, but the Magpies are adamant that their captain is going nowhere this summer.
It could take a staggering fee of around £100m to persuade the Tyneside outfit to contemplate his departure in the near future.
Arsenal are also exploring other midfield options. Lille's Ayyoub Bouaddi and Roma's Manu Kone are likewise on their radar.
