Arsenal eyeing shock move for Enzo Fernandez

Arsenal are eyeing a shock move for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez this summer, according to journalist Gianluigi Longari.

The Argentine has his sights set on a new challenge away from the Blues after they finished a lowly 10th in the Premier League.

Real Madrid are his preferred destination, but as things stand, they have yet to make a formal approach for his services.

The Blues value him at around £120 million, and Madrid may require a big-money sale before they can make a formal proposal.

Amidst this, it is claimed that Arsenal have gathered information over a potential deal and could enter talks in the near future.

Arsenal are expected to land a marquee midfielder this summer and they are currently looking at different options at their disposal.

They were linked with Sandro Tonali earlier this month, but the midfielder proved too expensive due to salary and agent demands.

The Italian has now joined Tottenham Hotspur from Newcastle United.
