Medical completed: Brazilian star set to join Man Utd tomorrow

Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos is expected to complete his permanent move to Manchester United tomorrow, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Red Devils secured a deal worth £50m for the Brazil international yesterday and he has since undergone his medical with the club.

Romano has now revealed that the 22-year-old will formally sign his contract tomorrow before United make a formal transfer announcement.

Santos is one of the best young midfielders in Brazil, but he struggled to break into the Blues' starting plans last campaign.

The youngster made only sporadic appearances from the XI as Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez were the regular central midfield pairing.

This has paved the way for his move to Man United, where he could establish himself as a key player alongside Kobbie Mainoo in midfield.

Meanwhile, there are concerns over the Red Devils' pursuit of Ederson, and there are claims that the deal could be called off due to medical issues.
