Man Utd confirm another signing alongside Tielemans

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Karl Darlow on a free transfer from Leeds United.

The 35-year-old was Leeds' first-choice goalkeeper in the back end of last season and played a key role in their Premier League survival.

Leeds wanted to keep him on a two-year contract, but the experienced shot-stopper snubbed the opportunity to join United on a Bosman deal.

He is currently the third-choice goalkeeper behind Senne Lammens and Altay Bayindir, but should become the second-choice pretty soon.

Bayindir has been tipped to leave the Red Devils for some period of time and reports claim that he is close to making the switch to Besiktas.

Besiktas are still negotiating a suitable fee with United, but the Turkish ace is widely expected to leave the club to return to the Super Lig soon.

United have now made three signings this summer. They signed Andrey Santos yesterday and have added Darlow and Youri Tielemans today.
