Chelsea preparing to offload winger after Rogers deal

Chelsea are preparing to part ways with Alejandro Garnacho after securing an agreement with Aston Villa for Morgan Rogers.

The Blues have stunned the footballing world by hijacking Arsenal's pursuit of Rogers. The Englishman will undergo his medical next week after a deal worth £117 million was finalised with the Villans.

The move came out of the blue and it represents a huge blow for the Gunners, who were determined to bring in Rogers as their marquee left winger.

Arsenal now need to look elsewhere for an elite left wing option. Chelsea, on the other hand, have to offload one with Rogers on his way to the club.

Garnacho has been touted to leave for the last few weeks and the Blues could grant his departure to Roma on loan with an option to buy very soon.

Roma have proposed to sign him for £4m with an option to buy £30m based on conditions. Chelsea are more likely to accept that offer now.
