Chelsea stance on signing Bruno Guimaraes revealed

Chelsea are not trying to sign Arsenal target and Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes this summer, according to Alex Crook.
The Blues recently hijacked the Gunners' pursuit of Aston Villa winger Morgan Rogers. The Englishman was touted to join Arsenal, but Chelsea beat them to his signature by paying a club-record £117m.
There have been claims that Chelsea could look to sign Guimaraes too, but Crook reports that the Blues are not planning to do anything like that.
There is an expectation among top Premier League clubs that the Brazilian will end up at Arsenal, having already agreed on personal terms.
Guimaraes has already informed the Magpies that he wishes to join the Gunners and he is prepared to give up on loyalty bonuses as well.
Arsenal are prepared to spend £70m on the 28-year-old, but the Tyneside outfit are eyeing between £80-85m for the former Lyon man.
Guimaraes handing in a transfer request would mean giving up on bonuses, and this could speed up his move to Arsenal in the near future.
