Ipswich want Shola Ameobi

Ipswich Town are reportedly considering a move for Newcastle United's unhappy forward Shola Ameobi in a £4 million deal this transfer window.

The Ipswich Town official website read: "We are aware of reports today linking Ipswich Town Football Club with Shola Ameobi but we will not be making any comment on the matter."

There have also been reports that Stoke City and Sunderland are both interested in signing the Newcastle frontman too.
