Crystal Palace want Chelsea ace on initial loan

Crystal Palace have made an offer to sign Chelsea defender Axel Disasi on loan with an obligation to buy next summer, according to Fabrice Hawkins.

The Eagles recently sold Maxence Lacroix to the Blues, and they are looking to land a quick replacement. Disasi is one of the top names on their radar, having impressed for West Ham United on loan earlier this year.

The Frenchman is said to be open to staying in London. Palace have now proposed a loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the campaign. They are prepared to pay around 25 million pounds for the ex-Monaco man.

Chelsea would ideally prefer to part ways with Disasi on a permanent basis this summer, but could be open to Palace's proposal for the player.

A buy obligation guarantees the fee next summer rather than the current one. It remains to be seen whether the Blues accept the offer from the Eagles or wait for permanent bids on the table.
