Chelsea have been handed a double injury boost ahead of the friendly against AC Milan.

The Blues were recently without Levi Colwill and Cole Palmer with minor injuries, but they have recovered in time to face the Rossoneri.

The English duo were spotted in today's training session under manager Xabi Alonso and are due to play some part against Ruben Amorim's side.

Chelsea have had a frustrating pre-season thus far. They have suffered defeats to Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus in their last two friendlies.

They will be determined to end the streak against Milan tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Blues are finally making progress towards a new left-back.

They have reached an agreement with Rayo Vallecano to land Pep Chavarria. The 28-year-old has travelled to London for a medical.

Chavarria was the priority left-back target for Alonso and the Blues have eventually convinced Vallecano to sanction his sale during the transfer window.

Chelsea are planning at least two more signings for the summer.
