Liverpool remain in active talks to sign 23yo French star

Liverpool remain in active talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola during the ongoing transfer window, according to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The Merseyside giants are keen on strengthening their wide attacking department and have earmarked Barcola as their priority target before the transfer deadline.

They value the Frenchman at around £110m, but PSG are adamant he won't leave for less than £145m. Hence, there is a significant gap in valuations, but the Reds refuse to give up.

The Anfield giants are still discussing payment terms with the European champions and remain optimistic of landing the 23-year-old for a lesser fee than Les Parisiens' valuation.

Meanwhile, a deal for Barcola would most certainly pave the way for a high-profile exit. Cody Gakpo has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur lately.

The Dutchman has given the green light for the potential move to north London. He could cost around £70m if the Reds open the door for his sale.
