Chelsea defender set to undergo Napoli medical

Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile is poised to undergo his medical with Napoli ahead of his initial loan move.

The Naples outfit reached an agreement with the Blues for the Frenchman last week, and Badiashile will soon report for his medical.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the centre-back has already agreed on personal terms and it is only a matter of time before he joins Napoli.

Chelsea are still expected to offload several other players. Tosin Adarabioyo and Axel Disasi are among centre-backs that could depart.

Similarly, a couple of strikers could also leave. Liam Delap has been placed in the transfer market after a lacklustre debut campaign.

Marc Guiu or Nicolas Jackson could also be shown the exit door. It seems the former is more likelier to head for the exit door soon.

Guiu joined Sunderland on a season-long loan last summer, only for the Blues to recall him due to Delap's untimely shoulder issue.

The former Barcelona man could leave the Blues permanently.
