Chelsea set fresh asking price for Liam Delap

Chelsea have increased their asking price for striker Liam Delap amid the widespread interest from Premier League clubs.
The Englishman has been deemed surplus to requirements by the west London giants and could head for the exit door before the transfer window closes on September 1.
Como were initially keen on landing the former Ipswich Town and there was talk that he could leave for around £40m to the Serie A outfit.
However, Delap's agency have made it clear that he would prefer to stay in the Premier League if he leaves Chelsea in the coming days.
Everton were already keen on his services and they have now been joined by the likes of Leeds United and Nottingham Forest, as per reports.
Chelsea believe there could be a bidding battle for the striker's services and they are prepared to hold up to £50 million to sanction his departure.
Delap has been training away from the main group and it appears a matter of time before he departs with the transfer deadline approaching.
