Man Utd enter race to sign 24yo German winger

Manchester United have joined Arsenal and Liverpool in the race to sign Brentford winger Kevin Schade in January.

The Red Devils were fancied to land a new winger during the summer transfer window, but did not pursue anyone in the end.

That could change at the turn of the year, with Caught Offside claiming they are closely monitoring Schade's progress.

The 24-year-old has stood out over the past 18 months at the west London side, and he has started the new season in fine fashion.

Schade has netted three goals in six appearances and has gone on to become a key player for the German national side too.

Brentford are keen on handing him an improved contract, but the player's entourage seem open to entertaining big club offers.

The Bees may be reluctant to negotiate his exit in January unless a huge offer arrives. United look set to compete with Arsenal and Liverpool for the former Freiburg man, who can play on the left wing or upfront.
