Arsenal striker ready to push for January exit

Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres could push for a move away from the Gunners during the winter transfer window.

The Sweden international had a good debut campaign with the Gunners last term, scoring 21 goals across all competitions.

However, he has yet to get off the mark in the current season and has been restricted to just 59 minutes in the Premier League.

This has led to speculation over his future and Teamtalk claim that the 28-year-old may decide to move on from the Gunners soon.

Arsenal remain keen on landing Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid and could make a renewed approach for him at the start of the New Year.

If they were to strike a deal, it could pave the way for the departure of Gyokeres, who could end up moving the other direction.

Atletico have been firm admirers of the former Sporting man from his time in Portugal and could seek to land his services in a separate deal.
