Ian Wright reacts to Noni Madueke's Arsenal goal vs Forest

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has reacted to Noni Madueke's performance after the 1-0 Premier League win over Nottingham Forest on the road on Sunday.

The Gunners reclaimed their second position in the standings with a hard-fought win over the Tricky Trees. They weren't at their best but managed to come out on top with three points.

Madueke's deflected goal coming off the bench proved the match winner and speaking after the game, Wright said that Madueke brought a sense of unpredictability before his goal.

He said: "We know he's got the pace to go on the outside and the capability of cutting in. The defender doesn't know if he's going outside or inside and that's why he was able to shoot. Nobody was willing to do that in the first half."

With the victory, Arsenal have moved within three points of Manchester City for the top spot in the table. They will host Everton next in the Premier League.

The Cityzens, on the other hand, have a tougher assignment against Aston Villa on the road, and there is an opportunity for the Gunners to close the small deficit.
