Gary Neville reacts after Spurs win vs Chelsea

Manchester United legend Gary Neville heaped praise on Tottenham Hotspur following their 2-0 Premier League win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The north London giants had a dismal start to the campaign and they were languishing in the drop zone during the first international break of the season.

However, they have turned their fortunes around since then and have now picked up back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time in ages.

Spurs celebrated their second league win over the Blues on the road in 36 years on Saturday and Neville said that they outplayed their rivals.

Neville said after Spurs' sublime victory: "Tottenham outplayed Chelsea, Spurs were brilliant.

"Spurs just dominated especially in midfield where they've invested so heavily, that felt like Robert De Zerbi's project coming to life."

Spurs have moved to 12th in the standings with the victory over the Blues on the road. They will host Crystal Palace in their next game on October 31.

Roberto De Zerbi was under immense pressure earlier last week, but the Italian tactician has managed to change the entire scenario in a couple of matches.
