Gary Neville reacts to Chelsea performance vs Spurs

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has sent his reaction after Chelsea's dismal Premier League performance against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues suffered a disappointing defeat to their arch-rivals on Saturday. They were second-best in almost every department and deserved to lose 2-0 in the end.

After the game, Neville said that the Blues were hopeless on the ball throughout the 90 minutes and described their performance as awful.

He said on Sky Sports: "Chelsea have been hopeless on the ball, I can't believe how bad they've been. They've been awful."

The Blues have had a stop-start campaign under new boss Xabi Alonso and are currently eight points behind league leaders Manchester City.

They have been hugely inconsistent in the early part of the season and need to step up with another huge game against Manchester United.

Chelsea host the Red Devils in the league next weekend, but prior to that, they have a midweek Carabao Cup fourth round tie at Liverpool.
