Chrisantus battle heats up
Macauley Chrisantus has been the subject of intense interest from Europe's largest clubs. The U-17 World Cup top scorer is being chased by Arsenal, Tottenham, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, Sevilla, Lyon and Ajax.
It is believed that Tottenham could be in pole position to sign the player with an offer of £1.5m which was rejected by Macauley Chrisantus' club FC Abuja.
Real Madrid have already had £1m offers rejected and Arsenal's scouts have been closely monitoring Chrisantus' position.
It is believed that his agent Adam Mohammed is in England trying to tie up a transfer.
The advisor to Chrisantus and Mohammed, Chris Nathaniel, said: "There is enormous interest in Macauley. Hes a special player. Thats why theres a battle to sign him."
