Budan to miss rest of Euros

Croatian forward Igor Budan will be missing for the rest of the Euro 2008 tournament. It is understood that the player has an injury that will leave him unable to take any further part for the quarter finals.

"He will undergo arthroscopic surgery in Italy and unfortunately he will not be able to help us for the remainder of the European Championship," said Bilic.

"We will consider calling up a replacement but only after our quarter final match with Turkey, should we progress to the semi-finals.”
