Robinson keen on Villa move

Paul Robinson is reportedly ready to make a move from Tottenham to Aston Villa this summer; and a source close to the England international keeper confirmed a deal could soon be in place.

A source close to Robbo quipped:

"Paul would welcome the opportunity to move to a club like Aston Villa.

"He believes Martin O'Neill can help to bring the best out of him. He realises his chances of playing regularly at Tottenham look unlikely.

"He feels such a move would help to resurrect his career."
