Podolski to stay at Bayern

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has wraned potential buyers for Lukas Podolski they will not be successful in their chase for the German international forward who had an impressive Euro 2008 tournament.

"He is not for sale at all. Podolski is not leaving. And I use this press conference to transmit that to my Köln colleague. This position is definitive," Rummenigge declared.

Man City and Liverpool were among some of the clubs reportedly ready to make an offer for the German striker who spent the early stages of his career at FC Koln.
