Kewell heads for Galatasaray

Former Liverpool midfielder Harry Kewell looks set to be heading for Turkey, after reports emerged from Galatasaray that the player would be joining the club. It is understood that the player's personal manager, Bernie Mandic, confirmed that an agreement was in place.

Bernie Mandic this morning told reporters in Australia: "We have not finalised a deal for Harry and it’s down to two possibilities.

"People will be notified if and when Harry decides on one of the options which may be around noon on Saturday European time.

"We will not make any other comments until then."
