Engelaar joins Schalke 04

Dutch international midfielder Orlando Engelaar has completed his move from FC Twente to FC Schalke; linking up with his former boss at the Dutch side.

The lanky midfielder was one of the Euro 2008 squad for the Netherlands, and has impressed with his brilliant natural passing abilities in recent seasons in the Eredivisie.

Engelaar reunited with coach Fred Rutten, who guided Twente over the last two seasons.

"He can play a lot of positions," Rutten said.
