Bentley close to Spurs deal

According to reports from several inside sources at Tottenham, Blackburn midfielder David Bentley is currently at White Hart Lane discussing personal terms with his new club.

It is understood that Bentley is set to sign a £65,000 per week deal and complete a dream swoop away from Blackburn.

Bentley is sure to disappoint several Arsenal fans - where he began his career - and make the move to Tottenham.

Spurs are believed to be ready to pay £12 million to land the Blackburn player.
