Messi delights as Barca win

Lionel Messi's fine start to the season has continued as he scored two goals in the 74th and 80th minutes as Barcelona defeated Sevilla 2-1. Kanoute grabbed a late goal for Sevilla.

Barca coach Frank Rijkaard said after the win: "I am always very happy when we achieve what we set out to do.

"This was a key game for us, to continue with our work and to give confidence to everyone.

"I congratulate the team because they have claimed a very important victory for us. Everyone who has seen the game will have to say that we deserved the win."
