Fellaini delighted to join Everton

Everton's new signing Marouane Fellaini has revealed he is absolutely delighted to be at the Toffees and is ready to start his Premiership career.

Fellaini said: “Thanks for the welcome and getting me into this great club. Finch Farm has great facilities and a great academy - hopefully I’ll discover more great things during my time at the club.

"I’ve watched English football quite a lot, the challenge is something which excites me. You can tell he (David Moyes) gives everything for the cause and for the club - I want to repay the confidence he has shown in me by giving my all on the pitch.

“I’m a holding defensive midfield player, I like to win as many balls as I can and pass it crisply to a team-mate. In the Belgian league, I managed to score one or two with my head , I do my best work at corners or dead balls - It’s my strength.”
