Bentley: the best night ever
Bentley: the best night ever
Tottenham midfielder David Bentley has said that the 4-4 draw that the Spurs earned against Arsenal in midweek was probably the 'best night of his career'.
"It was probably the best night of my career, but I felt like an emotional wreck at the end of it," Bentley told the Daily Mirror.
"We had a team meeting before the game and Clive Allen pointed out that the keeper comes off his line and sometimes right out to the edge of his box.
"That was still in my head early in the game. The ball sat up and I caught it perfectly. When I saw it go in, I went mad. I get so emotional and that's why we all play football."
