Xavi deal in jeapordy?

Xavi's agent has revealed that talks with Barcelona have stalled. The player has been in discussions over a new contract, but as yet have failed to make headway with the Catalan club.

Ivan Corretja admitted: "Next week I expect a new meeting with sporting director Txiki Beguiristain.

"We wait on news but the deal is not imminent because there exists too many differences between the two parties.

"It is not easy to close an accord at this moment."
